Army Ret. Sgt. Major Luther Davidson of AMVETS Post 911 in Port Orange is escorted by Ret. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Richard Calabrese, right, as he prepares to place a wreath for the annual Wreaths Across America to honor Veterans during the Holiday season in front of the Veterans Monument at the Edgewater/New Smyrna Beach Cemetery, Saturday, Dec. 15. AMVETS Post 911 donated more than $500 worth of wreaths for the event. The Wreaths Across America was sponsored by the Civil Air Patrol. Wreaths Across America started 20 years ago by the Worcester Wreath Company by donating and placing wreaths on the headstones of our Nation's fallen heroes at Arlington National Cemetery.
