BREVARD -- BodyWise Specialists, an Indialantic-based practice that offers a wide range of aesthetic and cosmetic services, strives to treat its patients like family.
And, recently, it welcomed a new member to its team.
Jennifer Fazio, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, is BodyWise Specialists' newest staff member, bringing 20 years of medical knowledge to the table.
"Jennifer is a wonderful addition to BodyWise," said Dr. Regina Kaufmann, who founded BodyWise Specialists with the goal of bringing the best aesthetic techniques in the industry to her practice. "Jennifer brings that special combination of professionalism and personal care. She has quickly blended into our team concept, and the response from patients has also been fantastic."
Ms. Fazio trained in the U.S. Army as a surgical technician before going on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Western Connecticut State University. She worked as a registered nurse serving in the fields of hospice, trauma and travel infusion, and then earned her Master of Science degree in nursing from Southern Connecticut State University. Following that accomplishment, she served in internal medicine and acute care.
Now, Ms. Fazio assists patients with various cosmetic services, including skin health restoration, laser hair removal, Botox treatments, HydraFacials, vein therapy, VASER ShapeŽ and more. VASER ShapeŽ is a completely non-surgical and non-invasive treatment that combines ultrasound and lymphatic massage to temporarily reduce the appearance of cellulite, tighten the skin and reduce fat cells. BodyWise is the only medical office on the Space Coast with this state-of-the-art machine.
Ms. Fazio said she is excited to be a part of a group that strives to help patients look and feel their best.
