Art exhibit opens

The Vagabond Art Party will present "Avant Garden," an interactive theatrical experience at 8 p.m., Friday Oct. 23, at Julian's Restaurant, 88 S. Atlantic Ave., Ormond Beach.

Tickets are $10 for guests older than 21 and $15 for guests younger than 21.

High school present mystery

For those who like a little mystery with their Florida history, Atlantic High School will be performing "Mystery at Hotel Ormond," a two-act drama adapted from Marian Tomblin's award-winning novel of the same name.

The mystery will be performed Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 29 to 31 at Atlantic High School, 1250 Reed Canal Road, Port Orange.
