World War II Veteran Sam Mastrogiacomo, left, of Edgewater and Kevin Ohea of VFW Post 4250 look at the row of Veterans of World War II who currently live in Volusia County. The photos were part of the POW-MIA Recognition Day at Riverside Park in New Smyrna Beach, Sept. 22. The annual event was sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign War Post 4250 and Rolling Thunder Florida Chapter 8 of Port Orange.
