Angelina Kisler, 11, of Port St. Lucie was selected to participate in the 2012 Miss Pre-Teen West Palm Beach\Fort Lauderdale pageant competition that will take place on Oct. 27.
Angelina is a sixth grader at Renaissance Charter School in St. Lucie West.
Angelina learned of her acceptance into this year's competition when the pageant announced their selections following interviews in area. She will compete for her share of thousands of dollars in prizes and specialty gifts that will be distributed to contestants. She will compete in the Miss Pre-Teen division, one of four divisions that will have young ladies ages of 7 to 19 competing in modeling routines, which include casual wear and formal wear. Most important, Angelina will display her personality and interviewing skills while interviewing with this year's judging panel. Personality is the No. 1 aspect that each contestant is judged on during all phases of competition.
If Angelina were to win the title of Miss Pre-Teen West Palm Beach\Fort Lauderdale, she would represent the area and its surrounding communities at the national competition that will take place in Orlando.
Community businesses, organizations and private individuals will assist Angelina in participating in this year's competition by becoming official sponsors.
Locally, Jetson TV and Appliance Center is Angelina's sponsor.
Through sponsorships, contestants receive all the necessary training, rehearsals and financial support, which will allow Angelina to become a confident and well-prepared contestant in this year's pageant.
