Registration opens at YMCA
The DeLand Family YMCA is holding registration for several sports.
Basketball instructional position clinic for children ages 13 to 17 will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 27. Registration fee is $25 for members and $35 for program participants. Jerseys are not provided. Participants should bring a lunch and drink.
Cheer and dance will be each Monday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. from Oct. 22 to Dec. 19. Class is for ages 6 to 15. Cost is $45 per member or $75 for program participant.
The YMCA also offers adult hockey, soccer and volleyball.

Pickleball offered
DeLand Parks and Recreation is offering pickleball at the DeLand Tennis Center.
Open play is from 9 to 11 a.m. every Monday. Paddles and balls are supplied for participants. Learn what pickleball is all about.
