Q. What do you see as the biggest issue for the office you are seeking?
A. Making government more efficient so we may take advantage of the gains that are out there to make this city tops not only in Florida, but also in the nation.
Q. What are your qualifications for the office you are seeking?
Graduate of Bethune-Cookman College Business Administration and Economics. Serving on the planning board more than eight years. Currently serving as secretary. Member of the Downtown Ballough Road Redevelopment Board. Former member of the city's Charter Review Commission. Past president of the Volusia County Alumni Association/B-CU. Past President of Excelsior BPW/USA. Trustee Emeritus/B-CU Board of Trustees.
Q. If you win, what's the first issue you will tackle?
A. Getting the city more financially stable so we are able to enhance the services offered to our citizens without increasing the cost. Once the budget is completely analyzed, a number of changes can be made for the good of the citizens.
Q. If you lose, will you continue in politics?
A. I most certainly will continue my mission. My participation in politics did not begin with the onset of this race. I am working for the citizens of Zone 6 as well as the citizens of the city of Daytona Beach.
