STUART - Visionary School of Arts will present its next "Rising Star" artist series of gallery exhibitions featuring Visionary School of Arts student-intern, Evan Rosato, and other award-winning student-artists, instructors and nonprofit board members from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1.
The open house will also include facility tours, light refreshments and live entertainment provided by AnTony Solomon from Full House Entertainment. Mr. Rosato will be highlighted for his work to encourage and provide inspiration to others with his commitment to the Visionary School of Arts Scholarship campaign.
Mr. Rosato is the son of Helena Rosato and brother to sister, Briahna, and thanks his mother for his artistic inspiration.
Mr. Rosato, 19, graduated from Martin County High School and studied with Gary Deaton. He is currently enrolled at Indian River State College pursuing a degree in fine art. He had attended workshops through JayMar, and is now studying and assistant teaching at Visionary School of Arts.
Under the guidance of Lynne Barletta and her staff, Mr. Rosato works with mixed media.
"I love the freedom to express myself in an environment where my vision is encouraged," he said.
Visionary School of Arts will be celebrating StuART, and supporting Mr. Rosato's meticulous attention to detail that displays a maturity of technique and style far beyond his age.
