BREVARD - Brevard County residents are encouraged to come out to the world's largest circus under the big top and see the 128th edition of Cole Bros. Circus of the Stars, Monday through Wednesday, Nov. 12 to 14.
Show times are at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. daily at Wickham Park at The Main Pavilion. This year's show will be headlined by Romania's Cretu Family, an extraordinary group that will display springboard gymnastics and a breathtaking Russian Barre routine.
The show will feature amazing animal performances, including Asian elephants, Judit and Jurgen Nerger's Splendid Tigers and Abuhadba's "Dressed for Success" French Poodles.
"We start with a roar and end with a bang," said Michael Norris, marketing director for the Cole Bros. Circus of the Stars. "The whole family can enjoy, from kids to grandparents."
From Kazakhstan, Lana & Company will perform magic and illusions for the crowd.
"Hair-ial Artists" Wendy and Peyta will perform aerial stunts while being held by their hair.
And, for those interested in daredevil stunts, The Globe of Death, El Pendulo Loco and The Human Cannonball, who burst from the barrel of the world's largest cannon at 5g velocity, will be performing, as well.
Also, members of the Bermudez Troupe will entertain the crowd with their clownish antics.
In addition to providing family entertainment, Cole Bros. Circus of the Stars said it offers free tickets to children younger than 13 years old.
Mr. Norris also invites the public to witness the rising of the tent at 7 a.m. on Monday.
