FORT PIERCE - A Chinese auction to benefit three of Mitch and Judy Vitelli's grandsons who have been stricken with pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disease associated with strep, will take place from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. in the club house at Spanish Lakes Country Club Village, Route 713, in Fort Pierce. Tickets cost $1.
Auction participants do not have to be present to win. There will be many hand crafts, jewelry, original paintings, gift baskets and gift certificates sold all day.
Mr. and Mrs. Vitelli have four grandsons from ages from 3 to 10. Three of the children are suffering with PANDAS. They were all healthy, active children until last year. Within several months, three of them were stricken by this terrible disease.
It has taken a huge toll on the family, both emotionally and financially.
