BREVARD - At the SPCA of North Brevard, nine is the lucky number.
Until Nov. 18, the nonprofit animal rescue group will run its "9 Lives for $9" promotion, which aims to put cats in good homes by cutting the adoption fee to $9.
"For nine days in November, we are making it so easy for people to meet our fabulous felines, who are ready to go home with you," said Patrick Fox, executive director of the SPCA of North Brevard, in a press release.
The event began on Nov. 10. It is part of a promotion across the United States, supported by Best Friends Animal Society, a national animal welfare organization.
"9 Lives for $9" was funded in part by PetSmart Charities.
To meet the adoptable cats and kittens, visit the SPCA of North Brevard at 425 Cheney Highway in Titusville.
