PALM CITY - A 900-acre property in Palm City has sold for $2.7 million. Rick Hartman of Hartman Real Estate, was the listing broker for the transaction.
The partially completed development, just south of State Road 714 along S.W. Green Farms Lane, has 37 single-family estate lots ranging in size from 20 acres to 44 acres, of which 10 have previously been sold.
It has access to I-95 and Florida's Turnpike. The property, most recently owned by BB&T Bank was sold to Ranchos Acquisition LLC based in Miami. The property had been on the market for years.
'I think this is a sign that the market is starting to slowly turn around,' said Mr. Hartman, who is co-owner of the firm. 'We're beginning to see defunct developments such as this one being bought up. For Martin County, this is good news.'
Hartman Real Estate is a generationally owned and operated real estate company, specializing in commercial and industrial property and land tracts and is based in Palm City.
