The Hub on Canal will conduct a "Wake & Paint" class from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 8, 132 Canal St., New Smyrna Beach.
Participants may create a finished painting for gift giving or to decorate your home.
Cost is $35 per person and includes all art supplies.

Artists take top prize at Flamingo Follies
Two New Smyrna Beach artists took top prizes at the 22nd annual Flamingo Follies holiday art show held last weekend in the NSB Waterfront LOOP.
Artist David Weaver's wooden sculpture, Palm Stump, took Best of Show. Local photographer Mike Ring earned ribbons for top prize in two categories -- the Purchase Award and Photography/Mixed Media.

More than 125 artists and crafters from around the state participated in the annual show. Nearly $5,000 in prizes was awarded.
