Kerry Low and John Wilkes of the Sunrise Theatre and Mary Zuehlsdorf, all of Fort Pierce, head to the buses to donate blood at the fourth annual 'Be a Hero' blood drive, hosted by the Van Duzer Foundation, in a joint effort with the Florida Blood Centers at Big Apple Pizza, owned by Scott Van Duzer, on Wednesday, Nov. 14. The Van Duzer Foundation, a nonprofit organization, helps families and individuals in St. Lucie County who are experiencing personal and financial hardship.
