MARTIN COUNTY -- Fun Tours Travel presents the Travel for the Troops "Fun"-raiser to benefit the House of Hope veterans fund on Feb. 7, from 3-6 p.m. at the Harbour Bay Plaza Palm Room in Sewall's Point.
Participants can take advantage of travel incentives and donations from suppliers and when they book cruises and tours, they'll earn money for veterans.
Separate $100 tickets will be sold for a drawing that includes a grand-prize, luxury, seven-day cruise for two.
All admission tickets and drawing and silent auction proceeds go to the House of Hope veterans fund, which provides services to local veterans and their families, such as help with rent, utilities and medical costs. Advance tickets are $20 and can be purchased from Fun Tours Travel and House of Hope.
House of Hope is a nonprofit community service agency that has been providing basic human needs for struggling people in Martin County since 1984.
House of Hope core service programs include a food pantry, the Clothes Closet thrift store and Project HOPE, which provides financial assistance and case management to assist people in need, including local veterans.
