TREASURE COAST --

The Van Duzer Foundation has set up a permanently endowed scholarship fund through the Indian River State College Foundation to provide scholarships for students attending IRSC.

The scholarship fund was created in memory of Calvin W. Lane to honor his many years of volunteer service through the Van Duzer Foundation.

Mr. Lane was an employee at IRSC, where he worked for more than 22 years.

"The need-based scholarship will be awarded annually in Calvin's memory to students at IRSC, who demonstrate a similar passion for community service," said Ann Decker, executive director of the IRSC Foundation.

For more information about this and other scholarships, call (772) 462-4786 or visit www.irscfoundation.org.
