Congratulations to John Carroll High School junior Alec Rothman, who recently received a special "You Rock" volunteer award.
The award was presented by Linda Melton, executive director of the Daniel M. Center for Behavioral Change.
Alec has dedicated numerous volunteer service hours working as an assistant counselor and peer mentor for children with behavioral, emotional and learning disabilities.
John Carroll High School is proud of his accomplishments and supports its students in providing service work in the community.
The school proudly serves students, both Catholic and non-Catholic, from Palm Beach, St. Lucie, Indian River, Martin, and Okeechobee counties.
